Enjoy the Regional Food Specialties of Campania No visit to Campania would be complete without tasting the region’s specialties, including the famous mozzarella di bufala made with the milk of water buffalo or 'limoncello' made from the local lemons. Some say pizza was born in Naples, but whatever the fact books say, the city’s pizza is one of a kind. Be sure to try the traditional Pizza Margherita with tomato, mozzarella and basil.
