The Mendolita Residence, with hotel service, is situated in a quiet position in the middle of the green, a few minutes walk away from the centre of Lipari. It features a group of small villas built in the island's typical style. It has a cosy breakfast room and a bar and provides a relaxed and friendly environment for your stay on Lipari.
Residence guests are also welcome at the swimming pool and wellbeing centre of the nearby Hotel Tritone, run by the Residence management. Half-board dinners are served at the hotel's two restaurants, Filippino and E Pulera, that provide an à la carte menu. There is a transfer service available to and from the port for a small fee and all credit cards are accepted. Another free shuttle service is available to the beach on request.
Apart from the Residence's seaside attractions, regular day excursions depart from Lipari to the other Aeolian islands or there are a variety of shops, characteristic streets and picturesque walking tracks to enjoy. The island is also home to one of the largest collections of maritime relics outside the Britain Museum, housed at Lipari's Archaeological Museum.
